Charmaine Williams
CEO and West Coast Director

Charmaine founded Star Event Staff in 2004 (formerly Char Star Inc.) after being a marketing manager and brand ambassador and parlaying that experience into a successful business. She has been in the industry for over a decade and continues to get joy from helping her clients businesses succeed. She loves creating live events where the target audience lives, works and plays. It is those memorable experiences that bring the brands to life in the markets of Arizona, California and Nevada among others.

Paola Horvath
East Coast Director

Paola is a 1995 Siena College graduate holding a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Marketing. Expertise in marketing and advertising has made Paola a successful entrepreneur. Her expertise as well as her husband's expertise helped in the success of their business, which they took from start up to over $20million dollars in annual sales. Over the past 10 years she has been awarded several local business awards for leadership, success and growth. Paola also lends her time to many nonprofit organizations and is very involved in her community. Paola has proven marketing skills and enjoys her role at Star Event Staff helping clients find the right "fit" for their business needs.

Marla (MP) Propios
Hawaii Director

MP was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. She spent many years in the radio industry as a Traffic Manager for many high demand radio stations in Hawaii and Las Vegas then moved into sales where she excelled and became the TOP PRODUCER. MP now utilizes her experience to help Star Event Staff clients successfully increase their Brand Awareness and Market Share by creating innovative marketing campaigns specially designed for Hawaii’s unique market.

Gerard Parisi
Director of Business Operations

Gerard is a practicing attorney and CPA, Gerard has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University in New York and became a Certified Public Accountant as an auditor for the Big 6 Accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP. He later obtained his law degree from Boston College Law School in Newton, MA. Gerard enjoys his role at Star Event Staff where he is able to meet the needs of strategic event marketers and agency executives across the spectrum of face-to-face marketing.

Jim Horvath
Director of Creative Marketing

James has spent the past 15 years being a successful entrepreneur. He marketed his start up company to make it one of the most successful in the area, winning many local business awards. This expertise helped in the success of his business, which he took from start up to over $20million dollars in annual sales. His entrepreneurial spirit is unstoppable. In addition to owning several companies, Jim spends time as a real estate developer/investor and he provides Star Event Staff clients the concepts to stand out from the 'crowd'. His creative concepts continue to generate ROI.
